Ride the Wind Ranch borders Crimson Lake Provincial Park, a short drive to the lake’s sandy beach and hiking trails; 10 km hike around Crimson Lake or shorter hikes to a scenic pond or the grassy lake shore’s boardwalk.
The cabins with private bathrooms are cozy, fresh and very clean. They can be booked for a romantic couple’s weekend, a relaxing friends’ retreat, or for fun family times.
Enjoy your morning coffee/tea on the cabin’s porch and watch a deer walk near the grazing horses.
Great ranch experience, staying outdoors lots including cooking at the gas BBQ and over the campfire.

Guest enjoy doing a daytrip into the Rockies: from the ranch it is an hour drive to Crescent Falls, Abraham Lake region with many hiking trails and further West to the Kootenay Plains with a lively hike to Siffleur Falls.
Or closer by visit the National Historic Site (15 min drive) with Metis and Fur Trade history and a bison herd. 18 minute drive to walking trails along the North Saskatchewan River and to the little Trappers Creek Falls. 18 min drive to Rocky Mountain House with Rocky Museum, shopping, restaurants, bowling and movie theatre.
