Ride the Rocky Mountains

3:00 pm - 4:00 pm Box 7 Site 9, RR#3

Join Wildhorse Ranch for a unique, western horse riding holiday near Nordegg Alberta. Ride well-trained mountain horses through Alberta’s Wild West on a 5-day adventure with the Wildhorse Ranch staff. Experience the unspoiled wilderness in the David Thompson Valley – retrace the hoof prints and foot prints of trappers, fur traders, first nation people’s and feel the energy of the “old ones”! Ride past the Old Trapper’s Cabin and see remnants of his life in the wild – people were much tougher back them. Day ride from base camp each day, stay in cozy bunkhouses at night, horses are safely put away in the big corral near by. Enjoy making s’mores around the campfire, see a sky full of a million stars, hear the wolves and coyotes howl at night and know that this is an amazing adventure. Our name came from when we lived at the base of Wildhorse Mountain, so don’t be surprised if we see/or hear wild horses running the paths that we will be riding and that is a thrill of a lifetime! Come Ride – learn new ways to handle horses. Come Stay and experience a different type of life. Come Play with other horse crazy girls and make friendships that will last a lifetime! All inclusive trip, just bring your pillow and sleeping bag, we provide the rest. Limited spaces available to call NOW to book a spot.1-403-729-2910 or email through the website
