National Indigenous Peoples Day 2020
Asokewin Friendship Centre is having a small parade to celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day, it will run throughout town starting at 2pm (please see poster for parade route). After will be a BBQ behind the centre building, as there is limited seating due to Covid restrictions, the society will be offering drive up options for food as well. Fireworks will cap off the evening at 11 pm. Please enjoy the day while respecting the distancing and hygiene rules that are in place for gatherings.
